The Central Cluster

The Central Cluster is the least restricted zone of the site and retains a pure grid format. Its proximity to the White location make it ideal to become the 'city centre' of the site.

The City Centre

This area will have a character similar to Soho in central London. The grid is conceived as a permeable, pedestrianised urban area, allowing people to connect between the east and west, north and south of the site and integrating the station with the rest of the development. The buildings can be both residential and office; community facilities, cafes, restaurants and retail uses will surround the central square to create a focal point for the site and surrounding area.
